Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Samburu National Park
After a fully served breakfast at your Lodge in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our guide and depart for Samburu National Park. En route, you will enjoy great views. Reach in time for lunch and after lunch, go for the afternoon Game drive around the park. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Campsite.
Day 2: Full day in Samburu National Park
Have breakfast and then depart with your packed lunch for a full day game drive in the park. Look out for animals like as Grevy’s Zebra, the long-necked Gerenuk, elephants and so many others. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.
Day 3: Morning game drive and Fly to Masai Mara
You will have an early morning game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, which forms the southern boundary of the park. You will be able to see many small herds of elephant bathing in the River or browsing in the riverine forests along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for the late breakfast and after you will drive to the airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara, which arrives there in time for Lunch. Have Lunch and after go for the evening game drive. Return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge, Mara Simba Lodge/Mara Sopa Lodge. (FB)
Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara National Park
Have Breakfast in the morning at the Lodge, depart with your packed lunch for a full day game drives searching for big cats animals such as Elephants, lions, leopards, Buffaloes and so on. Later on venture towards the Mara River to look for hippo pools, giant crocodiles and the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests. Return back to the lodge for a rest in the evening before having your dinner and overnight stay (FB).
Day 5: Wildlife Safari in Masai Mara National Park
Early morning have breakfast, later set out for the morning game drive and look out for the animals that you missed the other day in the previous game drives. Return back to the lodge in time for lunch after which you will rest and have a simple walk around the camp/lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Simba Lodge/Mara Sopa Lodge. (FB)
Day 6: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
Wake up early for the morning game drive to search for the other animals you missed out in the previous game drives, later return back to the Lodge for breakfast after which, you will transfer back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon. Drop off will either be at the Hotel in Nairobi or at the Airport depending on your flight departure time.
